CHICAGO ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY'S CALENDAR OF EVENTS |
| The CAS sponsors free telescope observing sessions at various sites. Everyone is welcome to attend. This is a wonderful opportunity for boy and girl scout groups or school groups. If you ever wanted to view the night sky through a telescope then pick a date from below. Usually CAS holds its monthly meeting on the Second Friday of each month at Adler Planetarium. Non-members are welcome. | |
Do you want to make the optics for your telescope? Call Jim Seevers at (219) 902-1817 for details. The optical shop (which once was operating at Adler Planetarium and recently donated to the CAS by Adler) is located at 3511 Illinois St. in Lansing, IL. |
